Welcome
Hello and welcome to Surrey Hills Happy Hounds Doggy Day Care & Boarding. Please note that our day care is currently fully booked.
We provide an intimate, enriching, loving & reliable Doggy Day Care & Boarding service, based near Dorking, Surrey. We treat each dog as if they were our own.
We understand life can be incredibly busy juggling work and life responsibilities, so we are here to take the stress away from leaving your dog at home.
We provide your pooch with safe play, socialisation, enrichment games, basic training and plenty of love & attention. We understand each dog is unique so we cater to fulfil each individual dog to their own needs which includes:
Morning and afternoon walk.
Your dog will have full access to our child free home with the chance to have their own dedicated sleeping area (human beds, dog beds, sofa and armchairs included subject to owners instructions).
Safe and secure (locked and covered by CCTV) garden area for dogs to play, do their zoomies, more enrichment games, basic training or simply rest.
With the owners permission we will provide treats and basic training.
We limit the amount of dogs we have per day as we truly believe their safety, welfare and attention comes first. This will ensure your pooch will get the maximum care and attention with their stay with us.
About Us
I have always had a dog in my life. I love being with them, training them and taking care of them.
Our dogs are so much more than just a pet. They are our companions, our babies, and our world. We will do anything to keep our dogs happy and safe. We will treat your dogs as if they were our own.
All my friends and family call me “the dog whisperer”! I seem to have a special bond and understanding of dogs which made me the perfect dog-sitter for my friends and families doggies.
We have two lovely, bubbly & friendly rescue doggies which are a Whippet and Lurcher. They both love being around other dogs. As a dog owner, you soon start to realise how important it is to socialise them, train them, let them use up their energy, play chase and have a really good time. Since lockdown, it has also become more apparent to dog owners that helping with their separation anxiety is important too.
After being in the IT industry for over 10 years, I chose to follow my dreams and do something that I am passionate about & enjoy. I am qualified through Ofqual and I regularly attend courses to ensure that I have the knowledge to care for our dogs & yours. We have made our house a warm, cosy environment to be your dogs "home from home".
Being a dog owner, there are many concerns that we have, such as; “Is my dog socialised enough?”, "Does my dog suffer from separation anxiety?", “Will my dog run away if I let it off-lead?”, "Is my dog getting enough exercise?", “Will my dog attack another dog?”, etc. I can assure you that at Surrey Hills Happy Hounds, your dog will be going on varieties of walks in safe and secure locations, . Our home also has CCTV and locked gates to give you maximum peace of mind.

Our pick up & drop off service cover is included with areas within a 7 mile drive from our home near Dorking. We charge a 50p per mile charge for each mile over 7 mile drive from our home.

Love and care when you are not there
Our objective is providing exercise, socialisation, mental stimulation and above all love and care when you are not there.
We only accept social, friendly dogs and will have to say no to aggressive, boisterous dogs in the interest of all dogs safety.
Due to the license being at our home, we can not accept excessively barky dogs.

Enrolment process
Please fill in contact form or call 07711 098 199 so we discuss your dog's profile and requirements
You and your dog attend an initial Meet & Greet session at my home and we go through onboarding documentations - £30 per dog fee
As part of the £30 Meet & Greet fee, your dog gets a 3 hour trial day in Doggy Day Care which includes pick-up but client is required to collect
Once passed the trial day, your dog is enrolled and will be able to attend day care on a weekly basis and there is a registration fee of £15 to cover the admin
For first time Boarders who regularly attend Day Care, there will require a 1 night test at £35 per night (approx. 6pm to 9am)
